Britney Spears' crazy behaviour, particularly her binge drinking, since the birth of second son Jayden and subsequent divorce from low-life husband Kevin Federline has now been blamed on post natal depression, it was discovered this week.
After returning to rehab in Los Angeles for the third time in as many weeks, doctors have now diagnosed Spears with the disorder. However, there are also fears that Britney may also be suffering from bipolar disorder.
Britney joins fellow celebrity Brooke Shields in a long list of women who have suffered post natal depression, however, one has to question just why it took so long for the depression to be diagnosed, as Jayden is now almost six months old.
Post-natal depression usually occurs only days or a few weeks after childbirth. As much as one in eight mothers will suffer some sort of depression after their baby is born. PND may also be the cause of her seperation from Kevin only four weeks after Jayden was born. Doctors have warned that making any life changing decisions while suffering from the disease may carry serious consequences - for Britney, she is facing losing her two sons and, because no pre-nup was signed, some of her fortune as well.
Things just keep on getting better for Britney don't they?
