Cook and Brinkley reach agreement

The much publicized media storm surrounding the divorce of Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook has come to an end.
The pair reached a settlement after a night of talks to reach an agreement.
Cook, an architect, will receive $2.1 million, and Brinkley was awarded custody of their kids, Jack, 13, and Sailor, 10. Brinkely also gets the real estate.
This resolution comes after 8 days of intense court battling, which resulted in the exposure of an affair on Cook's side, and a $3,000 monthly porn habit, also from Cook.
Both sides are happy with the settlement, with Brinkely lamenting, "I was here fighting for custody. I think a mother's greatest fear is somebody trying to take their children. That is what I was up against. I have won custody and decision-making and that's all I ever wanted."
