Heidi Montag feels a real connection to God. Seriously.
The Hills celebrity is used to getting a bad rap for the scandals she finds herself in on "reality" TV, but insists her life is going to be about more than that.
Reportedly, she plans to go to Africa this August (with Spencer of course) to...wait for it..."feed children and help build things.”
"I have been the most religious person since I was 2 years old. I always felt this crazy connection to God," she tells USA Today.
So much so, in fact, she plans to record a Christian music album. Someone forgot to tell her that there are no red carpets or photographers in front of churches.
Maybe it's her faith that helps her deal with all of the bad press she gets for being linked with rumors about things like LC's sex tape.
"God knows the truth in all of this, and at the end of the day, that is the only thing that matters. Jesus was persecuted, and I'm going to get persecuted, ya know?"
At least she's self aware.
